Iowa DOT driver’s license stations to be closed temporarily during staff training
AMES, Iowa – Sept. 28, 2012 – During October and November, the Iowa Department of Transportation will be holding in-service training for driver’s licensing personnel. Iowa DOT driver’s license (DL) stations will be temporarily closed on a rotating schedule to accommodate this training. The schedule of closures is shown below.
If your local DL station is closed and you are unable to wait to receive services until the next business day, you may go to any of the other DL issuance locations in the state that are open. Visit http://www.iowadot.gov/mvd//ods/dlsites.htm to see a map of all of the DL issuance sites in the state and their normal hours of service.
