Proposed bridge replacement on U.S. 69 over the Iowa River in Wright County to be discussed Oct. 9
AMES, Iowa – Sept. 27, 2012 – The Iowa Department of Transportation will hold a public information meeting Tuesday, Oct. 9, to discuss the proposed replacement of the bridge on U.S. 69 over the Iowa River in Wright County, 5.3 miles north of the north U.S. 69/Iowa 3 junction.
The public is invited to attend the meeting anytime between 5 and 6:30 p.m. at the Belmond City Hall, 112 Second Ave. NE.
This public information meeting will be conducted utilizing an open forum format. Iowa DOT staff will be present to informally discuss the proposed improvement. No formal presentation will be made.
Traffic will be detoured during construction using Wright County roads C-25, R-65/Belmond Road/Luick's Lane and C-20.
