AMES, Iowa – May 31, 2013 – The Iowa Department of Transportation is requesting public input on the proposed bridge replacement on Iowa 281 over Poyner Creek, 2.3 miles north of Black Hawk County Road D-20.
The project provides for replacing the existing bridge with a twin reinforced concrete box culvert.
Through traffic on Iowa 281 will be detoured during construction using Black Hawk County roads V-49 and C-66.
