Proposed Bridge Replacement on U.S. 18 in Clay County to be Discussed June 25 in Everly
AMES, Iowa – June 13, 2013 – The Iowa Department of Transportation will hold a public information meeting Tuesday, June 25, to discuss the proposed bridge replacement on U.S. 18 over the Ocheyedan River, 2.3 miles west of Clay County Road M-27.
The public is invited to attend the meeting anytime between 5 and 7 p.m. at the Everly Community Center, 203 N. Main St.
This public information meeting will be conducted utilizing an open forum format. Iowa DOT staff will be present to informally discuss the proposed improvement. No formal presentation will be made.
Traffic would be detoured during construction using O’Brien/Clay County Road M-22, Clay County roads B-24 and M-27 (through the city of Everly).
