Ramp and lane closures on east- and westbound U.S. 20 at Morningside Avenue in Woodbury County scheduled for June 27 and 28 #iatraffic
SIOUX CITY, Iowa – June 26, 2014 – The westbound U.S. 20 off-ramp and eastbound U.S. 20 on-ramp at Morningside Avenue interchange will be closed to accommodate roadway maintenance operations Friday and Saturday, June 27 and 28, weather permitting, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation’s Sioux City maintenance office.
In addition, eastbound U.S. 20 traffic will be restricted to one lane intermittently from Morningside Avenue east 4 miles.

The Iowa DOT reminds motorists to drive with caution, obey posted speed limit and other signs in the work area, and be aware that traffic fines for moving violations are at least double in work zones. As in all work zones, drivers should stay alert, allow ample space between vehicles, and wear seat belts.
