Public input requested for proposed bridge deck overlay on Iowa 10 over Dry Creek in Sioux County

AMES, Iowa – July 24, 2014 – The Iowa Department of Transportation is requesting public input on the proposed bridge deck overlay on Iowa 10 over Dry Creek, 0.9 mile east of Iowa 12 in Sioux County.

The proposed project provides for repairs to the existing bridge, including new deck overlay, new bridge approaches, and replacing guardrails. 

This project will require the temporary closure of Sioux County Road K-18/Buchanan Avenue on the west side of the bridge on the north side of Iowa 10 and will require a local detour.
