AMES, Iowa – Sept. 15, 2014 – The Iowa Department of Transportation will hold open-house public input meetings Tuesday and Thursday, Sept. 16 and 18, to discuss and gather input regarding the Iowa Park and Ride System Plan. The plan is being developed to identify ideal locations for park and ride facilities to serve commuters in the state. The public input meetings will be held at the following locations and times.
At each meeting, a presentation will be made and Iowa DOT personnel will be available to individually discuss the plan. The meeting room is accessible for persons with disabilities. The Iowa DOT will be accepting public comments on the plan through Oct. 16, 2014. There are several ways to provide your input on the plan.
