Proposed improvements along U.S. 30 in Tama and Benton counties to be discussed Dec. 10 in Blairstown


AMES, Iowa – Nov. 26, 2014 – The Iowa Department of Transportation will hold a public information meeting Wednesday, Dec. 10, to discuss the proposed improvements at the intersection of U.S. 30 and U.S. 218 in Benton County, and the anticipated right of way needs associated with the proposed improvement of U.S. 30 from the Iowa 21 intersection in Tama County east to the U.S. 218 intersection in Benton County.

All interested persons are invited to attend this meeting anytime between 5 and 6:30 p.m. at the Blairstown Community Center, 305 Locust St. NW, in Blairstown. The meeting will be conducted utilizing an open forum format. Iowa DOT staff will be present to informally discuss the proposed improvements. No formal presentation will be made.
