Public notice of proposed bridge deck overlay work on Monona County Road K-42
AMES, Iowa – Jan. 26, 2015 – The Iowa Department of Transportation is providing public notice of a proposed bridge deck overlay project on the Monona County Road K-42 bridge over Interstate 29. The bridge is 1.7 miles north of Iowa 175.
The proposed project provides for repairs to the existing bridge, including new deck overlay, new bridge approaches, and replacing guardrails.
The proposed project will require the closure of Monona County Road K-42 and traffic detoured. More information is available on Iowa DOT’s website: www.iowadot.gov/pim.
