Proposed U.S. 30 bypass of Mount Vernon/Lisbon to be discussed March 5 in Mount Vernon
AMES, Iowa – Feb. 23, 2015 – The Iowa Department of Transportation will hold a public information meeting Thursday, March 5, to discuss the proposed U.S. 30 bypass of Mount Vernon/Lisbon from west of Wilcox Road in Linn County to Charles Avenue in Cedar County.
All interested persons are invited to attend this meeting anytime between 5 and 6:30 p.m. at the Mount Vernon High School, 731 Palisades Road SW. The meeting will be conducted utilizing an open forum format. Iowa DOT staff will be present to informally discuss the proposed bypass. A short presentation will be made at 5:30 p.m.
