Lane restrictions on U.S. 20 in both directions at Moville begin March 30 #iatraffic #US20Final40

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – March 26, 2015 – Road reconstruction work on U.S. 20 at Moville near mile marker 18 will require traffic to be restricted to one lane in both directions beginning at 9 a.m. Monday, March 30, until the end of November 2015, weather permitting, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation’s Sioux City construction office. 

The traffic restricts are required to allow replacement of the eastbound U.S. 20 bridge over the West Fork of the Little Sioux River.

Dixon Construction Co. of Correctionville was awarded the $1.6 million contract for this project.

The Iowa DOT reminds motorists to drive with caution, obey posted speed limit and other signs in the work area, and be aware that traffic fines for moving violations are at least double in work zones. As in all work zones, drivers should stay alert, allow ample space between vehicles, and wear seat belts.
