BETTENDORF, Iowa – April 29, 2015 – A Portland cement pavement replacement project on U.S. 67 in Bettendorf will require lane closures between 10th Street and 17th Street until the fall 2016, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation’s Davenport construction office.
During the day, U.S. 67 traffic will be restricted to two lanes in each direction. However, intermittent nighttime construction work on U.S. 67 will require traffic to be restricted to one lane Sundays through Thursdays from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning. Various side roads will also be temporarily or permanently closed due to construction.
A height limit of 14 feet will be in place in the open lanes. Motorists will be directed through the construction zone by temporary traffic signals.
