Iowa Transportation Commission to meet in Burlington Aug. 11
AMES, Iowa – Aug. 6, 2015 – The Iowa Transportation Commission will hold its next business meeting Tuesday, Aug. 11, at the Comfort Suites Hotel and Conference Center, 1780 Stonegate Center Drive, Burlington. On the day before the meeting, the Commission will tour transportation projects in southeast Iowa and conduct an informal workshop session at the Comfort Suites Hotel and Conference Center.

Transportation tour
The Commission and Iowa Department of Transportation staff will tour transportation projects in southeast Iowa starting at 9:15 a.m. at the Comfort Suites Hotel and Conference Center, 1780 Stonegate Center Drive, in Burlington. The tour will end around 3 p.m. at the Comfort Suites. Transportation-related matters may be discussed, but no action will be taken on the tour.
Informal workshop session
The Commission will meet informally with staff from the Iowa DOT beginning at 3:30 p.m. at the Comfort Suites. The following transportation-related matters may be discussed, but no action will be taken during the meeting. The items are listed in no particular order and may be discussed at any point during the workshop.
