SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Sept. 15, 2015 – Ramp construction work, in conjunction with the Interstate 29 reconstruction project, in Sioux City, will require closing the northbound I-29 Wesley Parkway on-ramp beginning at 8 a.m. Monday, Sept. 21, until Wednesday, Oct. 30, weather permitting, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation’s District 3 Office in Sioux City.
Traffic will be directed onto a signed detour around the work zone (see map). Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes.

The Iowa DOT reminds motorists to drive with caution, obey posted speed limit and other signs in the work area, and be aware that traffic fines for moving violations are at least double in work zones. As in all work zones, drivers should stay alert, allow ample space between vehicles, and wear seat belts.
