WAUKEE, Iowa – Sept. 21, 2015 – Ramp construction at the new interchange for Interstate 80 and Grand Prairie Parkway near mile marker 119 requires shifting traffic to the inside lane of westbound I-80 from Jordan Creek Parkway (exit 121) and Waukee/Booneville (exit 117) for four to six weeks, weather permitting, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation’s Creston construction office.
During construction, the inside and outside lane widths will be reduced to 11 feet and temporary barrier rail will be in place to separate traffic from construction activities.
