Proposed improvements on Iowa 175 in Webster County to be discussed May 12 in Gowrie
AMES, Iowa – May 2, 2016 – The Iowa Department of Transportation will hold a public information meeting Thursday, May 12, to discuss the proposed bridge replacements on Iowa 175 with box culverts. The bridges are located over Tank Pond Creek 0.3 mile west of Webster County Road P-33 and West Buttrick Creek 2.1 miles east of Webster County Road P-29.
Iowa 175 traffic will be detoured during construction using Webster County roads P-33 and D-60 and Baxter Avenue.
All interested persons are invited to attend this meeting anytime between 5 and 6:30 p.m. at the Gowrie Community Center, 1206 Market St., in Gowrie.
The meeting will be conducted utilizing an open forum format. Iowa DOT staff will be present to informally discuss the proposed improvements. No formal presentation will be made.
