Public input requested for proposed culvert replacement on Iowa 14 in Floyd County


AMES, Iowa – May 12, 2016 – The Iowa Department of Transportation is requesting public input on the proposed culvert replacement on Iowa 14, 0.4 mile west of South Iowa Street in Charles City, in Floyd County.

The proposed project provides for replacing an existing 5-by 7-foot reinforced concrete box culvert (RCB) with a 10- by 5-foot RCB.

Through traffic on Iowa 14 would be detoured during construction using Iowa 14, U.S. 18/218, and the interchange at U.S. 18/Floyd County Road T-64. For more information, see the website listed below.
