Proposed improvements on U.S. 75 in Plymouth County to be discussed July 6 in Le Mars

AMES, Iowa – June 27, 2016 – The Iowa Department of Transportation will hold a public information meeting Wednesday, July 6, to discuss the proposed improvements to U.S. 75 from Jackson Street in Merrill to Plymouth County Road C-38.

Plymouth County Road C-38 will be closed at U.S. 75 during construction and traffic will be detoured using Key Avenue, 200th Street, 24th Street Southwest, and Lake Avenue.

All interested persons are invited to attend this meeting anytime between 5 and 7 p.m. at the Blue Bunny Ice Cream Parlor, 115 Central Ave. NW, in Le Mars.

The meeting will be conducted utilizing an open forum format. Iowa DOT staff will be present to informally discuss the proposed improvements. No formal presentation will be made.

The meeting space is accessible for persons with disabilities. However, if you require special accommodations at the meeting, please notify the Iowa DOT contact listed below by July 1.
