Transfer of jurisdiction approved
The Commission approved the following transfers of jurisdiction. Following a transfer of jurisdiction, the city/county is responsible for all future maintenance and improvement of that roadway and right of way.
To the city of Dubuque: The portion of U.S. 52/Iowa 3 north from the intersection of U.S. 61 in downtown Dubuque to the northern corporation limits of Dubuque, a length of approximately 3.91 miles (including the one-way pairs). All portions of Iowa 32 (Northwest Arterial) that are within the corporation limits of Dubuque, a length of approximately 4.43 miles.
To the city of Sageville: The portion of Iowa 32 and U.S. 52/Iowa 3 that lies within the corporation limits of Sageville with a total length of 0.73 mile.
To Dubuque County: The portion of U.S. 52/Iowa 3 that lies within Dubuque County, a length of approximately 0.34 mile.
