Proposed improvement on Iowa 13 in Linn County to be discussed Oct. 10 in Central City


AMES, Iowa – Sept. 28, 2017 – The Iowa Department of Transportation will hold a public information meeting Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017, to discuss the proposed reconstruction of the southbound lanes on Iowa 13 from approximately 1 mile north of County Home Road north to approximately 2 miles south of Central City in Linn County, and to discuss right of way needs for the improvements.

Iowa 13 will remain open during construction with southbound traffic utilizing a northbound lane.

All interested persons are invited to attend this meeting anytime between 5 and 6:30 p.m. in the high school cafeteria at the Central City Community School, 400 Barber St., in Central City. The meeting will be conducted utilizing an open forum format. Iowa DOT staff will be present to informally discuss the proposed improvements. No formal presentation will be made.
