AMES, Iowa – March 15, 2018 – The Iowa Department of Transportation is requesting public input on the proposed bridge project on U.S. 69 over Four Mile Creek, 0.1 mile south of Polk County Road F-22. The proposed project provides for removing the existing bridge and replacing with a three-span, 130-by-44-foot continuous concrete slab bridge. New bridge approaches will be constructed and guardrails installed.

Through traffic on U.S. 69 would be detoured during construction using Northeast 36^th Street, Interstate 35, and Polk County Road F-22. For more information, see the website listed below.
