Iowa 130 improvements in Scott County to be discussed April 17 in Bennett

AMES, Iowa – April 5, 2018 – The Iowa Department of Transportation will hold a public information meeting Tuesday, April 17, to discuss the extension of seven and replacement of four box culverts on Iowa 130 from 0.1 mile east of Scott County Road F-31 to 2 miles north of Scott County Road Y-40. 

Through traffic on Iowa 130 would be detoured during construction using Scott County roads F-31 and Y-40.

All interested persons are invited to attend this meeting anytime between 4 and 6 p.m. at Bennett Elementary School, 300 Cedar St., in Bennett. The meeting will be conducted utilizing an open forum format. Iowa DOT staff will be present to informally discuss the proposed improvements. No formal presentation will be made.
