Temporary vehicle titling, registration, and licensing services available in Marshalltown
MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa – July 23, 2018 – To aid those in Marshall County needing assistance with vehicle titling, registration, and other vehicle services during the emergency closure of the Marshall County courthouse, the Iowa DOT has made their mobile DOT2GO unit available in the parking lot of the Marshalltown Driver’s Service Center at the Marshalltown Mall, 2500 South Center St.
Vehicle-related services that are typically handled at the Marshall County treasurer’s office will be offered inside the mobile unit beginning Tuesday, July 24 and will be made available from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, until a longer-term temporary space can be secured. Driver’s license and identification services will still be available in the service center inside the mall.
A temporary service location is necessary after a tornado severely damaged the Marshall County courthouse on July 19.
