Proposed bridge improvements for Iowa 926 in Webster County to be discussed Feb. 18 in Fort Dodge

AMES, Iowa – Feb. 7, 2020 – The Iowa Department of Transportation will hold a public information meeting Tuesday, February 18, to discuss the proposed traffic control options for the bridge replacements on old Iowa 926 over the Des Moines River, 1.3 miles north of the south junction of U.S. 169 and over the CN Railroad and 7th St. SW, 1.5 miles north of the south junction of U.S. 169 in Fort Dodge.

All interested persons are invited to attend this meeting anytime between 5 and 6:30 p.m. at the Fort Dodge Library, 424 Central Ave., in Fort Dodge.

The meeting will be conducted utilizing an open forum format. Iowa DOT staff will be present to informally discuss the proposed improvements. No formal presentation will be made.

The meeting space is accessible for persons with disabilities. However, if you require special accommodations at the meeting, please notify the Iowa DOT contact listed below by Feb. 13.

The project is scheduled to take place during 2023.
