UPDATED - Several Iowa DOT driver service centers closed today due to power outages

ANKENY, Iowa – Aug. 11, 2020 – If you have an appointment at one of the Iowa Department of Transportation’s driver service centers today, please note that many locations are closed due to power outages. Because there is no power, phone lines are also not functioning.

9:30 a.m. update - Power has been restored to the Ankeny location. The driver's service center is now serving customers who have appointments.  The Motor Carrier and Vehicle Services center is also open. The information center phone lines at 515-244-8725 are also now functioning. 

These locations remain closed Tuesday, Aug. 11.
