UPDATED - Iowa Transportation Commission to meet Oct. 13

AMES, Iowa – Oct. 13, 2020 – This release has been updated to include a new conference ID number for those wishing to join the audio by telephone. Dial 515-817-6093 and use conference ID 589133827#. 

The Iowa Transportation Commission will hold its next business on Tuesday, Oct. 13 at the Hotel Blackhawk, 200 E. Third St. in Davenport. While the Commission will meet in person, public participation will be limited to one representative from each delegation during the public input portion, or by conference call or Teams. This is to assure adequate social distancing measures can be accommodated.

Transportation tour
The Commission and Iowa Department of Transportation staff will tour transportation projects in eastern Iowa Monday, Oct. 12, starting at 9:45 a.m. at the Hotel Blackhawk, 200 E. Third St. in Davenport. The tour will end around 2:30 p.m. at the Hotel Blackhawk. Transportation-related matters may be discussed, but no action will be taken on the tour.

Informal workshop session
The Commission will meet informally with staff from the Iowa DOT Tuesday, Monday, Oct. 12, in person and via conference call beginning at 3:30 p.m. at the Hotel Blackhawk, 200 E. Third St. in Davenport following the tour. In order to assure adequate social distancing, public participation in the workshop will be limited to conference call or Teams.
