Iowa DOT offices closed for Christmas and New Year’s holidays

AMES, IOWA – Dec. 14, 2020 – All Iowa Department of Transportation locations will be closed Thursday and Friday, Dec. 24-25, 2020, and Friday, Jan. 1, 2020, for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. All Iowa DOT driver's license service centers will also be closed Saturday, Dec. 26, 2020, and Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021.
Appointments are required for driver's license and ID services and can be made at https://iowadot.gov/mvd/driverslicense/service-selector. Many people may be able to complete driver’s license business online at www.iowadot.gov.
