Waterloo driver’s license service center opens in new location July 27
ANKENY, Iowa – July 20, 2021 – The Iowa Department of Transportation will relocate its Waterloo driver’s license service center to 2060 Sovia Drive, Suite 116 on Tuesday, July 27. The current Waterloo driver’s license service center at 2313 First Ave. S will close on Friday, July 23, to allow the staff time to move equipment to the new facility. In-person services will resume when the new location opens on Tuesday, July 27.
The new location will offer customers an updated, easily accessible facility in which to conduct driver’s license business. As points of reference, the new location is behind Freddie’s Steakburger, in the same shopping plaza as Planet Fitness and Carlos O’Kelly’s.
