Temporary closure of Iowa 12 from Plymouth County roads C-38 to K-18 to begin Monday, July 18
SIOUX CITY, Iowa – July 13, 2022 – A culvert replacement project on Iowa 12 one mile north of Plymouth County Road K-18 requires closing the roadway to traffic from Plymouth County roads C-38 to K-18 for 3 weeks beginning on Monday, July 18, weather permitting, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation’s District 3 Office.
During this project, Iowa 12 traffic will be detoured onto Plymouth County roads C-38 and K-18.
The Iowa DOT reminds motorists to drive with caution, obey the posted speed limit and other signs in the work area, and be aware that traffic fines for moving violations are at least double in work zones. As in all work zones, drivers should stay alert, allow ample space between vehicles, and wear seat belts.
