Iowa Transportation Commission to meet October 11 in Des Moines
AMES, Iowa – Oct. 6, 2022 – The Iowa Transportation Commission will hold its next business meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at the Hilton Des Moines Downtown, 435 Park Street, in Des Moines. While the meeting is open for in-person attendance by delegations and the public, participation via conference call or Teams is encouraged to minimize the number of in-person attendees. This is to assure adequate social distancing measures can be accommodated.

The Commission and Iowa Department of Transportation staff will tour transportation projects in central Iowa on Monday, Oct. 10, starting at 8:45 a.m. at the Hilton Des Moines Downtown, 435 Park Street, in Des Moines. The tour will end around 2:30 p.m. at the Hilton Des Moines Downtown, 435 Park Street, in Des Moines. Transportation-related matters may be discussed, but no action will be taken on the tour.

Informal workshop session
The Commission will meet informally with staff from the Iowa DOT on Monday, Oct. 10, in person and via conference call beginning at 3:30 p.m. at the Hilton Des Moines Downtown, 435 Park Street, in Des Moines, following the tour. While the meeting is open for in-person attendance by the public, participation via conference call or Teams is encouraged to minimize the number of in-person attendees.
