Proposed Improvements to U.S. 63 to be discussed in Tama on December 6, 2022
AMES, Iowa – Nov. 29, 2022 – The Iowa Department of Transportation will hold a virtual and in person public information meeting to discuss the proposed improvements to U.S. 63 from U.S. 6 in Poweshiek County to the south city limit of Tama in Tama County. The project will include rubblization and an HMA overlay in Poweshiek County, a PCC overlay in Tama County, and Super 2 enhancements throughout the project.
In-person meeting:
When: December 6, 2022 between 5 and 6:30 pm
Location: Tama City Civic Center, 305 Siegel St., in Tama
Description: Iowa DOT staff and project consultants will be present to discuss the proposed improvements. No formal presentation will be made. The meeting space is accessible for persons with disabilities. However, if you require special accommodations at the meeting, please notify the contact listed below by December 2.
