AMES, Iowa – Dec. 24, 2022 – 8:15 a.m. - The Iowa Department of Transportation, in cooperation with the Iowa State Patrol, is beginning to open northbound Interstate 35. The roadway was closed yesterday afternoon between Ames and Clear Lake because of extremely hazardous driving conditions. Iowa Transportation Commission approves FY 2024 Traffic Safety Improvement Program projects

AMES, Iowa – Dec. 13, 2022 – The Iowa Transportation Commission approved more than $330,000 in grant funding for one transportation infrastructure-related development project under the Linking Iowa’s Freight Transportation System (LIFTS) program. The LIFTS program provides grants for projects that help meet the changing demands of Iowa’s multimodal freight system.
