Proposed sidewalk and roadway improvements along Iowa 9 and U.S. 218 in Osage to be discussed on Feb. 15
AMES, Iowa – Feb. 9, 2023 – Join the Iowa Department of Transportation for a virtual or in-person public information meeting to discuss proposed roadway improvements on Iowa 9 from Kirkwood Avenue to 1st Street, and along U.S. 218 from Poplar Street to Iowa 9 in Osage.
Additional proposed improvements include sidewalk replacement and curb installation from Kirkwood Avenue to South 14th Street and along U.S. 218 from Iowa 9 to North Corporate Limits. Proposed sidewalk improvements comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Construction is expected to begin in 2025.
In-person meeting:
When: Thursday, Feb. 15, 2024, anytime between 5 and 6:30 pm
Location: Osage Public Safety Center, 432 Main Street.
Description: You will be provided with information about the project, and you can talk through your ideas with our staff and consultants. There will be no formal presentation. The meeting space is accessible for people with disabilities. If you require more support at the meeting, please notify the contact listed below by Thursday, Feb. 9.
