Iowa 13 north of Manchester closing on Tuesday, May 28
MANCHESTER, Iowa – May 17, 2024 – If you drive on Iowa 13 north of Manchester you need to be aware of an upcoming construction project that may impact your trip.
Beginning on Tuesday, May 28, weather permitting, Iowa 13 between the north side of Manchester and Iowa 3 will be closed until early November so crews can remove and replace the pavement for this 10-mile section of roadway.
While the road is closed you will be detoured east on U.S. 20 to Iowa 38 and Iowa 3. Access to homes along the closure route will be maintained.
Help keep everyone on the road safer. Drive with caution, obey the posted speed limit and other signs in the work area, and be aware that traffic fines for moving violations are at least double in work zones. As in all work zones, you should stay alert, allow ample space between vehicles, and wear seat belts.
