AMES, Iowa – August 21, 2024– Tell us what you think about proposed improvements to U.S. 69/South Ankeny Boulevard from SE Peterson Drive to 1st Street in Ankeny. (Event # 6086)
Changes include:
- Widening the roadway.
- Replacing traffic signals at 1st and 3rd
- Adding turn lanes and safety improvements.
During the reconstruction of U.S. 69, traffic will be maintained with at least one lane in each direction. Construction is expected to start spring of 2026 and end fall of 2026.
