AMES, Iowa – Sept. 23, 2024 – Join the Iowa DOT for a Public Hearing to share your thoughts on the proposed improvements of U.S. 61 (Wapello Bypass) from just north of Iowa 78 to north of 130th Street in Louisa County.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the potential impacts of the planned highway improvements and present the updated preliminary design. The updated design reflects a collaborative effort between state, county, and city officials.
ATTEND THE PUBLIC HEARING TO SHARE YOUR FEEDBACK
When: Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2024, between 5 and 7 p.m.
Between 5 and 5:45 p.m. is the open house style format.
From 6 to 7 p.m. is the formal presentation and Q&A session.
Location: Briggs Civic Center, 317 N. Water St., in Wapello
