Tell us what you think about the proposed improvements on Iowa 4 to be discussed in Jefferson September 23


PIM_IA4-GreeneCoAMES, Iowa – Sept. 16, 2024 – Join the Iowa DOT for a virtual or an in-person public information meeting to tell us what you think about the proposed improvements on Iowa 4 from south of Greenwood Road to north of U.S. 30 in Jefferson in Greene County. (Event # 6187)

Changes include:

  • Asphalt resurfacing
  • Pavement markings to change road from 4 lanes to 3 lanes

During the reconstruction of Iowa 4, traffic will be maintained. Construction is expected to start in 2026.

ATTEND IN PERSON MEEETING TO SHARE YOUR FEEDBACK

When: Monday, September 23, 2024, anytime between 5:30 and 7:00 p.m.

Location: Jefferson Community Center, 204 W. Harrison St. Jefferson, Iowa 50129

Description: You will be provided with information about the project, and you can talk through your ideas with our staff. There will be no formal presentation. The meeting space is accessible for people with disabilities. If you require more support at the meeting, please notify the contact listed below by Friday, September 20, 2024.
