Tell us what you think about the proposed improvements on Iowa 4 to be discussed in Jefferson September 23
AMES, Iowa – Sept. 16, 2024 – Join the Iowa DOT for a virtual or an in-person public information meeting to tell us what you think about the proposed improvements on Iowa 4 from south of Greenwood Road to north of U.S. 30 in Jefferson in Greene County. (Event # 6187)
Changes include:
- Asphalt resurfacing
- Pavement markings to change road from 4 lanes to 3 lanes
During the reconstruction of Iowa 4, traffic will be maintained. Construction is expected to start in 2026.

When: Monday, September 23, 2024, anytime between 5:30 and 7:00 p.m.
Location: Jefferson Community Center, 204 W. Harrison St. Jefferson, Iowa 50129
Description: You will be provided with information about the project, and you can talk through your ideas with our staff. There will be no formal presentation.
