Temporary Closure of Southbound Iowa 376 in Sioux City for Pier Repair Tonight (Sept. 19) at 9 p.m.

Sioux City, Iowa – Sept. 19, 2024 – Southbound Iowa 376 will be closed briefly tonight (Sept. 19), starting at 9 p.m., for pier repair, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation’s Sioux City construction office.
The closure is expected to last only 20 minutes. Traffic will be stopped for the short duration of the closure.
The Iowa DOT reminds motorists to drive with caution, obey the posted speed limit and other signs in the work area, and be aware that traffic fines for moving violations are at least double in work zones. As in all work zones, drivers should stay alert, allow ample space between vehicles, and wear seat belts.
