Tell us what you think about proposed improvements on U.S. 30 in Boone County


PIM_US30-BooneCo-PavementRehabAMES, Iowa – Oct. 4, 2024– Tell us what you think about proposed rehabilitation of the pavement on U.S. 30 in Boone County from the Greene County Line to Ogden. (Event # 6247)

Improvements include:

  • Concrete overlay.
  • Removal of the raised median at the east end of the project.
  • New pavement markings.

During the rehabilitation of U.S. 30, traffic will be detoured. The detour route will use Iowa 144, County Road E57, and U.S. 169. Construction is anticipated to start in early 2025.
