AMES, Iowa – Nov. 15, 2024– Tell us what you think about proposed reconstruction of Iowa 149 from the Des Moines River Bridge to W. Woodland Avenue in Ottumwa on Nov. 21, 2024. (Event # 6346)

Changes include:

  • Reconstruction of Iowa 149.
  • Reconfiguration of 4th Street on/off ramps.
  • Reconfiguration of the 5th Street intersection.
  • Addition of left turn lanes on W. Woodland Avenue.

During the reconstruction, traffic will be maintained on Iowa 149. Sideroads and ramps will be closed at various stages to accommodate construction.

When: Thursday Nov. 21, 2024, anytime between 5 and 6:30 p.m.

Location: Bridge View Center, 102 Church St., Ottumwa, 52501

Description: You will be provided with information about the project, and you can talk through your ideas with our staff. There will be no formal presentation.
