No meeting - The Iowa DOT is requesting public input on the proposed replacement of the Iowa 3 bridge over the North Raccoon River approximately 2.5 miles east of U.S. 71, and the drainage ditch that is approximately 3.3 miles east of U.S. 71 in Buena Vista County.
The proposed project provides for replacing the existing North Raccoon River bridge with a 150-by-42-foot continuous concrete slab bridge, and replacing the 36-by-30-foot bridge over drainage ditch #34 with a 12-by-11-by-122-foot reinforced box culvert.
Traffic will be maintained throughout the projects.
Deadline for receipt of comments is July 19, 2016; however, all correspondence received after this date will be included in the project files and reviewed as the project is developed.
