Proposed bridge project on U.S. 69 over Four Mile Creek

About the Project

No meeting - The Iowa Department of Transportation is requesting public input on the proposed bridge project on U.S. 69 over Four Mile Creek, 0.1 mile south of Polk County Road F-22. The proposed project provides for removing the existing bridge and replacing with a three-span, 130-by-44-foot continuous concrete slab bridge. New bridge approaches will be constructed and guardrails installed.

Through traffic on U.S. 69 would be detoured during construction using Northeast 36th Street, Interstate 35, and Polk County Road F-22.

Deadline for receipt of comments is March 28, 2018; however, all correspondence received after this date will be included in the project files and reviewed as the project is developed. To submit a comment online about this project, go to:
