June 26, 2018, 5-6:30 p.m. at the Kalona Cooperative Technology Company, 514 B Avenue, in Kalona.

Discussion

Discuss the proposed improvements to Iowa 1 in Johnson County, and to discuss right of way needs for the improvements. The proposed improvements include the replacement of Iowa 1 structures over the following locations:

Old Woman’s Creek,
Old Man’s Creek,
A small natural stream located 2.1 miles south of Johnson County Road F-52,
A stream 0.6 miles north of Johnson County Road F-52, and
Old Man’s Creek Overflow, 0.8 miles south of Johnson County Road F-52.

Construction of the projects will be coordinated and staged to allow access to properties at all times. Some stages will require detouring through traffic out of the project corridor. When needed, through traffic on Iowa 1 would be detoured using U.S. 218 and Iowa 22.
