Proposed bridge project on U.S. 18 over Waterman Creek

About the Project
No meeting - The Iowa Department of Transportation is requesting public input on the proposed bridge project on U.S. 18 over Waterman Creek, 1.3 miles west of O’Brien County Road M-12.
The proposed project provides for removing the existing bridge and replacing it with a standard three span pretensioned prestressed concrete beam bridge that is 201’ 4” x 44’. New bridge approaches will be constructed, guardrails installed, and shoulders paved.
Through traffic on U.S. 18 would be detoured during construction using Vine Avenue/O’Brien County Road M-12, 360th St./O’Brien County Rd B-24, and U.S. 59. For more information, see the website listed below.
Deadline for receipt of comments is August 15, 2018; however, all correspondence received after this date will be included in the project files and reviewed as the project is developed. To submit a comment online about this project, go to: http://bit.ly/iowadot2203.
