Project description

Discuss proposed improvements to U.S. 34 in Ottumwa. The Iowa DOT and City of Ottumwa have partnered to review traffic operations, safety, and future corridor goals for approximately 2.5 miles of U.S. 34 from Wildwood Drive to just east of the Vine Street interchange with U.S. 63. The purpose of this meeting is to update residents and stakeholders on concepts being developed to improve the corridor, environmental constraints along the corridor, safety and operational concerns, and obtain public feedback regarding corridor improvement options.
