Project description

The Iowa Department of Transportation is requesting public input for a proposed culvert on Iowa 144 over Buttrick Creek, 4 miles South of the Iowa 175 junction in Greene County. The proposed project will consist of replacing the existing 75’ x 30’ steel beam bridge with a triple 12’ x 10’ culvert.

Construction of the project is expected to begin in 2022.

Through traffic Iowa 144 would be detoured during construction using Greene County Road E-18, Greene & Webster County Road P-46, and Iowa 175.
