Project description
The Iowa Department of Transportation is requesting public input for a proposed culvert project on U.S. 6 over a drainage ditch, 0.2 miles east of County Road T-12 in Jasper County. The proposed project will consist of replacing the existing bridge with a twin 12’ x 12’ culvert.
Construction of the project is expected to begin in 2021.
Through traffic on U.S. 6 would be detoured during construction using Iowa Speedway Dr., Interstate 80, and Iowa 224.
